Pipex Composite Pipes (PCP) Ltd has been supplying fibreglass pipe systems since 1975. As the sole UK distributor for Ameron Bondstrand GRE and Protesa GRP, Pipex has established itself as one of Europe's leading GRE and GRP authorities. Over the years Pipex has worked with many of the major engineering houses, ship builders and oil companies on a number of significant projects throughout the world.
In working on these projects Pipex has gained an incredible amount of experience on GRE, GRP, GRV, FRP & Phenolic principles and installations. As a result of this Pipex has developed a pool of engineering resources in the form of designers, draughtsman, stress engineers, project managers, and site engineers all with extensive GRE and GRP experience.
Pipex has recognised that one of the key criteria in successful GRE and GRP installations is the skills of the engineers at all stages of a project. Pipex is also aware that not all clients have the necessary skills, and has therefore made available their own team of engineers to support clients in both domestic and international projects.
Pipex offer a full range of services from basic material only supply, to a fully project managed "Turn Key" solution. By working with the client, Pipex are able to offer flexible frameworks that provide the relevant resources at every stage of a project. This may be design advice on dimensions or supports, on site training or full system design and installation.
