Fairfield Energy, Dunlin Platform

Pipex have won a project for Fairfield Energy to replace cooling water pipe work on the Dunlin platform in the Northern North Sea. The Pipex scope will include prefabrication of the spools together with installation and hydro testing by a Pipex offshore qualified Field Service Engineer. Using Bondstrand 7000M conductive GRE pipe and fittings the solution is suitable for hazardous areas and being GRE is totally resistant to corrosion by sea water.
