O. Pipex Offshore Applications

Pipex Ameron Bondstrand glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe is a light weight, high specification, corrosion resistant piping system. Using ISO 14692 as the basis for material qualification, system design, fabrication and installation, Pipex GRE pipe systems are used by all of the major oil producers in various offshore applications. A principle advantage of GRE is that fabrication and installation does not involve any hot works and therefore no shut downs are required. In addition, the corrosion resistance qualities of Pipex Ameron Bondstrand GRE pipe increase the product life span to in excess of 25 years which in many cases extends beyond the life of the platform.
