Bondstrand 2000M and 7000M are glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe systems which have been designed specifically for marine applications. Employing the IMO guidelines Ameron have worked extensively with major ship owners and operators to utilise GRE in more diverse applications. Vents and sounding tubes are some of the more recent applications for which Ameron have received approval by Lloyds, Germanischer Lloyds, DNV, ABS, RINA, Bureau Veritas, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and USCG.
Bondstrand 2000M and 7000M are filament wound GRE pipe systems from 1” – 16” (25 - 400mm) with quick lock adhesive bonded joints.

Feature & Benefit
One of the main features of GRE is corrosion resistance. GRE is highly resistant to both internal and external corrosion without the need for any surface preparation or special coatings. This reduces maintenance costs and eliminates expensive replacements. As standard products Bondstrand 2000M and 7000M are designed with a 25 year design life and in most cases out last the life of the vessel.
Bondstrand is now a widely accepted in the marine market and is commonly specified on commercial and military vessels throughout the world.
