Pipex Bondstrand 2400 and 3400 are glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe systems which can be manufactured to meet specific internal operating pressures be it 10, 16, 20, 25, 32 or 50 bar. Utilising filament winding techniques the wall thickness of the pipe is increased inline with pressure rating (2420 denoting a 20 bar rated system). Utilising ISO14692 Ameron have worked extensively with many of the major oil producers received 3rd party approval by Lloyds, Germanischer Lloyds, DNV, ABS, RINA, Bureau Veritas, USCG.
Bondstrand 2420 and 3420 are filament wound GRE pipe systems from 2” – 40” (50 – 1000mm) with a taper/taper adhesive bonded joint designed for a maximum operating pressure of 20 bar (290 psi).

Feature and Benefit
The non corrosive properties of GRE make it ideal for fire water systems. GRE does not corrode internally or externally and therefore there is no risk of debris from internal corrosion blocking pumps and deluge nozzles.
