Bondstrand 2400 and 3400 are glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe systems which can be manufactured to meet specific internal operating pressures be it 10, 16, 20, 25, or 32 bar. Utilising filament winding techniques the wall thickness of the pipe is increased inline with pressure rating (2416 denoting a 16 bar rated system). Employing the IMO guidelines Ameron have worked extensively with many of the major ship owners and received 3rd party marine approval by Lloyds, Germanischer Lloyds, DNV, ABS, RINA, Bureau Veritas, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and USCG.
Bondstrand 2416 and 3416 are filament wound GRE pipe systems from 2” – 40” (50 – 1000mm) with a taper/taper adhesive bonded joint designed for a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar (232 psi).

Feature & Benefit
GRE is very light weight (can be up to 1/6th the weight of steel). During installation and maintenance works this eliminates the need for expensive lifting equipment and aids in health and safety issues.
