Bondstrand 2400 and 3400 are glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipe systems which can be manufactured to meet specific internal operating pressures be it 10, 16, 20 or 25 bar. Utilising filament winding techniques the wall thickness of the pipe is increased inline with pressure rating (2410 denoting a 10 bar rated system). Employing the IMO guidelines Ameron have worked extensively with many of the major ship owners and received 3rd party marine approval by Lloyds, Germanischer Lloyds, DNV, ABS, RINA, Bureau Veritas, Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and USCG.
Bondstrand 2410 and 3410 are filament wound GRE pipe systems from 2” – 40” (50 – 1000mm) with a taper/taper adhesive bonded joint with a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar (145psi).

Feature & Benefit
Being a non metallic product no cathodic protection is required for GRE and with a smooth internal bore that does not deteriorate over time there is little build up of marine growth reducing pump costs and maintenance.
Bondstrand is now a widely accepted in the marine market and is commonly specified on commercial and military vessels throughout the world.
